NEWS FLASH: fitness doesn’t come in a bottle. You get it the old fashion way… by earning it!
CROSSFIT BATHURST is a core strength and conditioning program… but NOT your typical gym! The workouts are constantly varied, functional movements and done at high intensity. To sum it up: it’s a super effective way to get fit!
We practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. We master the basics of gymnastics: pullups, dips, pushups, situps and handstands. We play with rope climbs, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. To top it off, we mix in some bike, run, swim and row: hard and fast.
The wod’s might seem intimidating at first, but not to worry, that’s why you have a personal coach to help you scale the workouts at your level and still keep it challenging and fun.
CrossFit trains you on these 10 components:
Cardiovascular/Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength,
Flexibility, Power, Speed, Agility, Coordination, Balance , Accuracy
Developing these skills will not only improve your performance in the gym or your sport, but will help your overall health and significantly improve the ability to do your everyday tasks.
