oh… by constantly varied… this is what i meant:

If you always workout in an air conditionned setting and always at sea level..when you workout at 95degree or in elevation, it’s gona be a wake-up call in a very bad way.. cause you’re not used to it.
    * Life doesn’t always fall into those windows.

So don’t always workout with 8-12 reps, or in shorts and T. You need to work in the middle and both lower, higher extreme. Otherwise, you’re really limiting yourself.

That being said. I got dressed for my run this morning… and only realised after that I had forgotten my running shoes at the hotel. But I rrrreally wanted to run. So I went with my dress shoes. Now, I don’t recommend that to the ladies with high heels!: it’s a good thing my dress shoes are really sporty :)

Did 4 x 300m run, about 30 seconds rest between.

I wanted to run 5k… but the street were a bit too dangerous at dawn. so I ran on a back street with no traffic.

Fitness in a 100 words:

■ Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. ■ Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. ■ Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. ■ Regularly learn and play new sports.
