Ever hiked Signal’s Hill North Head Trail?  If time permits tonight, I will time myself to the top of that rocky trail and 750+ steps.  Stay tuned….

it Sucked! Windy, misty and cold. From the stop sign (so i remember next time) to the peak… Time: 20:19 :) Then down and around, including some rock de-climbing. Total of 45ish minutes run.

Wow great Janine! Remember it was the tail-end of Hurricane Ike in NFLD yesterday. Way to go!

Thanks. I did ok.. but I know I can do much better. My buddy JP came with me.. he had time to do the last set of stairs twice and he finished the same time as me. He’s a fit machine.

Fitness in a 100 words:

■ Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. ■ Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. ■ Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. ■ Regularly learn and play new sports.
